08 Nightster Front Turn Signal Mounts NEED HELP
Hey guys I purchased this relocation kit
( Part #: 215904 Arlen Ness Black Custom Turn Signal Mounts for 39mm Fork Assemblies - 127380)
https://www.denniskirk.com/215904.sku
I know how to mount the new brackets to the forks but i cant figure out how the turn signal attaches to the mount. I tried to use an allen wrench to take the stud out of the turn signal housing but it only turns out for a couple of threads then i feel like im going to break it off. Anybody used this kit? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!

Oh man!! That was the FIRST thing I put on my GF's Nightster a couple of years ago but I don't remember having issues with that. What I do remember is having to use different hardware, either for the mount to the triple tree or the light. As I recall, one of the supplied bolts wasn't long enough in my opinion, so I went longer to get more thread grip.
Soak that thing in WD-40 and ease it out. It shouldn't be an issue, but pay attention to how far the supplied hardware goes in. I wasn't comfortable with it.
Good luck!

Not quite sure your question, is it to remove the signal from handlebar? You need to unscrew the tiny allen bolt on top of the signal out. Careful, the signal will drop once the allen is about to screwed out completely.
The photo below is not same as 2008 sportster, but the location of the allen bolt circled in red is about the same.
Hope this help.
I have same relocation bracket. I like the signal on handlebar but my windshield block it. I add an adapter which is for sportster 2003 signal. So when I remove windshield, I can easily move it back to handlebar while leaving the bracket on the folk tree.
Here is my installation.
