Encouraging your wife to ride is serious business. Scary out there. My wife wants to learn to ride, and the thought of all the close calls I have had, makes me wonder if it is a good idea.

Invite her now. Best thing I ever did when starting to learn was find this place esp the queens. They helped me figure out so many things when I started and talked me through hard days so don't wait. The hardest moments for most riders are the beginning. That is when many get spoked or discouraged and having other women to help makes a big difference.

I was able to pick up her bike on friday. So here it is with mine.

^great info there. Always helpful to have outside encouragement and a place for support from the same sex who have gone through the same learning process. I think men and women approach riding like they do many other things in life. Differently.
