I switched out the previous owner's 12" in chrome apes for the black 12" z bar apes.. He had unusually long chrome braided cables (see picture). I'm planning on changing out the harley chrome riser for standard 2" inch risers and relocating the spedo and indicator lights to a side mount below the bars..

What size cables will fit best and closest to the bars? I'm looking for black braided..

Magnum Shielding makes great cables and you can custom order them to any length you want. Use a string to run where the cable will route and the get a measurement from the string.

Those wires look great! Might have to get these when I install my new bars, same height I got now but just to freshen things up!
