Sorry Harley, but those things are like wearing combat boots, and I've had enough of those. I ride with these Nitros because they offer good protection and are just dog gone comfortable.

Yep! If you just looked at their web sight you would have noticed in the specs that there is kevlar armor in the ankle area. These are great boots, and if you live close, take a ride down and check them out. The company is also great to do business with.

I wear redwings to work and to ride I swear by them.

 

I got a pair of HD boots off of ebay & they are not uncomfortable at all. They look like new & I only paid 23.50 for them. That's why I bought them. Not because they said HD on them.
I also got the laces of my hiking boots hung up on the shifter peg at a stop sign last summer. Scared the hell out of me. Just about went down.
