Stupid Boot question

RE: Stupid Boot question
My boots were free. They are flight deck boots issued to me in the Navy. Even though they are over 30 years old they are in great shape because they were my inspection boots. I kept them spit shined and only wore them for inspections. I somehow managed to not loose them after all these years. Now I wear them every time I ride.

Harley boots are made by Wolverine. They are hard, bulky, and simply suck. Go to any tack shop and try on a pair of rubber soled, black leather boots by Ariet and you can't go wrong. You pretty much get what you pay for. Cheers

RE: Stupid Boot question
HD boots all the way, everyday. Own three pairs. Shorter for summer riding, taller for winter, another pair for everyday, everywhere. We don't pay the HD Price, found a Farm and Fleet store around here that carries them at a great discount. The woman wears hers daily, too. Neither one of us own a regular shoe. As long as you can find em somewhere besides the dealership, well worth it, long lasting, safer.

I have a pair I think they are H-D faded glory, lace up with a strap and buckle. At first i wasn't crazy about the Vibram lug soles but they are Ok. I don't knowif thgey areWolverines but they are made in China. The boot itself is as comfortable as sneakers. I wear them every day. Chippewas for dress ( Wellington style)

RE: Stupid Boot question
two pair number one redwing steel toe wellingtons which I wear for work and when im riding my bike to work , any other timeI wear h-d engineer boots . I dont like lace up boots after getting the laces hung up on the toe shifter and having to lean my bike against a tree so I could reach over and get loose.
