I just picked up my Power commander and Ness big sucker. The shop already did the programming so I'm ready to go. Can I install this and the air cleaner myself? I am alright with the wrenches but by no means am I a mechanic! Any suggestions? Installis on a 2007 XL50 Fuel Injected.

 

I haven't installed a power commander but it should be a plug in and go deal. I do question whether or not it can be properly programmed off the bike. Your exhaust & new AC once installed will affect the A/F ratio. If it was me, I would have the bike dyno'ed after it's installed IMO. The AC install is a pretty simple task. Good Luck

 

The hardest part is finding a good spot to mount the thing. The rest is just plug in n go. Takethe PC in the house and program it first from your home PC, then do the install.
