Default Wakeing up the bike

Question; I'm a first timer of bringing the sporty back to life (after winter the snooze) I went through all the steps to winterize it, are there any tricks of the trade to get sporty back on the road the only thing I didn't pick up was fresh plugs!!

Thanks all
D/C

Nope. I just start mine right up. Usually it will take some time to crank over because the fuel in the float bowl has been removed prior to storage. Then it will smoke for a bit because of the fogging oil in the cylinders. After removing the pigtails from the batttery tender my bike is ready.

Mine 'il start right up after a couple months, need a fully charged battery, I'll have to pump the throttle a coupletime and hold about halfway while cranking, and is aboutthe only time I have to pull the enricher(choke) out as well.

1. Disconnect spark plug wires
2. Crank the motor till the oil pressure light goes off
3. Connect spark plug wires
4. Turn on the fuel petcock
5. Pull the choke and fire it up
6. Run it hot
7. Ready to ride

I wouldn't have thought about getting the oil pressure up.

But then the only thing I did to winterize my bike was to buy more layers of warm clothes.
