Default Anyone installed the rear signal kit?

Anyone have this kit on and like it? I was considering it but not sure if its legal in the area or if it is worth the money they are asking.

Doesn't seem like it'd be hard to install. You just gotta make sure that you're allowed to have red lenses for your turn signals in your state. Shouldn't be too hard to find out. Other than that I don't think the price is too bad for the added "red" in your stops.

rpoteau,

Ditto what "12Stones" said. The extra red back there is a great idea and can only help give you more visibility - if it's legal for you.

You might try the website for your Motor Vehicle Bureau to find out, or ask someone at one of your vehicle inspection stations if you have them. I think I'm going to check it out for NJ because I really like the idea having them back there.

My local harley dealer does that to All new bikes. But then the SH charges 1000 bucks for Dealer Prep. []
I Didnt buy from him.

The kit Should be a Piece of cake to install But remember that it just gives you brake lights and the standard turn signals. There are kits out there for pre 04 and pretty soon for post 04 sportsters that will turn your rear blinkers into Running lights too. Thats going to be the ticket for me. Rear Blinkers that Show Turning, braking, And Running. My 2 Cents
