Nice bike Foojay...And yep, I agree with the rest of the posts, you did well on that deal. I would never let my '05 go for that price; one of the reasons I plan on keeping it for many years even if I decide to move onto a Softail or Touring bike. Good luck with your new ride...

Yeah I really did get a good deal on it. Kinda funny how I got it for so low.
When I initally looked at the bike it was tagged as an '01 1200C for $5999. I'm new to Harleys and couldnt tell the difference between an 01 and an 06, but I figured the salesman would know. I thought about it for a week then went back to buy it and the tag was off the bike. So I though it was sold, tracked down the salesman and asked if it was sold, he said no. Got to talkin about the vibration problems in the 01's and he said...this isnt an 01 it's an 06.......threw me for a loop.
Told him to get on the dealers internet site and look at their used inventory, the only used Sportster they had was an 01 with 8469 miles, the same miles as the '06....I told him I had my mind set on the $5999 price and asked what the correct price on the bike was. He said $7999. I asked him to meet me in the middle and he did. He admitted they made a mistake and had the bike listed as an 01 for $5999. It's rare these days that someone will own up to a mistake especially a $2,000 one.
Long story I know, but I made out like a Bandit!
