The LED Taillight isnt as bright DURING THE DAYas stock, but I do have the run/turn/brake controller on mine.
Looks good at night, and it looks damn good on the bike.

Just finished taking off the front and rear reflectors, and i must say that it looks a ton better without them.

I rode most of the day today, and I do like the tires so far.

I like that solo seat you have on your bike. What brand/model is it? I know it won't fit my bike with the 3.3 gal tank, but I like the way it hugs the frame. Post some pics with the front fender off when you have a chance.

Did you do all the work yourself? If so, how long did it take to get the front and rear tires off? I just ordered some new wheels and polished rotors for my bike and am not sure if I should attempt to do the work myself. It's more of a fun factor thing for me than a saving money issue. Thanks man...

Looks Great! The reflectors were the first changes I did to the bike.
I'm curious about your seat as well. I currently have the La Pera Barebones solo on mine. Looks like you have the Brawler...is that right?
I've also got the Metz ME880's......after about 100+ miles, you'll notice a HUGE difference in performance. Although I could tell a difference before I got out of 1st gear after I installed them.

I purchased the lepera barebones solo seat off of ebay and sold it within 2 weeks.
Looked great but this one flows more with the bike and feels a ton better .

I didnt do the work on my bike. Im not too mechanically inclined, like some people.
Fortunately for me, I have a friend in my town, he has a little motorcycle shop, and he is certified to do work on Harleys that doesnt void any warranties, but I never stay legal on any vehicle i have hehe

There is a place about 20 minutes away that will polish my rotors for 40 bucks.
Will probably do that until i can put some money aside for custom rotors.

 

Not taking off the front fender. I wouldnt mind a new custom one. I saw one for 99 dollars in the style i like..hmmm maybe one day...

Just called HogPro to get a price on a Smoothie chrome rear wheel to match my 80 Spoke chrome front. They told me I could go with an 18" wheel and a Metzler 880 ? tire. I thought of this post and wanted to ask you a few questions before I commited to the $1000 bucks it's all gonna cost.

1. How does the bike ride with the 18"? I assume you went with the 160 tire. Better handling?
2. Did you go with an 18x4.25 rear? Any mounting issues? Anything stock needed to be changed or was it all bolt on. HogPro is telling me its all bolt on.

Your bike looks dang good it has great profile. All the accessories in the world can't make a bike look great unless it fits. You done a great job.

 

I also talked to hogpro a while back, they recommended a 160 tire with 18x4.25
i went with 18x3.50, because thats all they had in 18" to match my front.

i went with a 150/70 18 to make sure it would fit

the installer that put it all on , he said when i change my tire, i can go with a 160/80 and it would work.

As far as the ride on the rear 18" it feels the same as the stock wheel. not a big change

I would do it if i were you. Good luck with that.
