Default what is this weird noise?

I have an 04 sportster 883 with 24xxx miles bored out with buell internals. Neverthless its a badass bike. Whenever I am sitting on a hill and start out I here a screaching noise, same noisr happens when I'm in a higher gear crusing than give it full throttle. It sounds like something is lose and screaching or making some kind of high pitched noise. Anyone have any ideas as to what it might be?
Thanks

sounds k belt tension/ alignment issue. you can also use a bar of ivory soap to lube teeth and edges of belt if the noise is still there after proper tension and alignment adjustments have been made. sometimes dusty roads can cause crazy things to happen with belts...don't know if you ride down dusty roads but I have seen it before.

not kidding about the soap.....this method is used on victory motorcycles and works very well.

Well I live on a 2000 ft stone driveway so I'm getting dust on the way in n out. Sounds like its coming from the front left of the cylinder but can't pin point it due to it being a brief noise when I accerlate n it doesn't happen every time, weird.

It's up to you, but you can check the belt tension in under a minute, and the chain probably five.
