Default Tank Lift Kit with Clip Ons?

Hey guys, I've had a tank lift kit installed for a few months now, but I just installed clip on handlebars and I feel like the tank sticks out a bit much.

What do you think?

Thing is, if I want to lower that tank back I've already gotten rid of the wire hiding plastic bit from underneath when I tucked it in. Should I leave the tank as is? Or lower it and move the wires? And where might I move them?

If you do decide you want to redo you wire tuck with no tank lift, the following link has a step-by-step (with pics) on how to do it.

That's a sweet bike, but I'd probably lose the lift if it was mine.

I'd probably drop the tank back down as the clip ons are so low profile. You will get more mileage out of the tank also with it dropped back down. I'm a fan of the lift normally but those clip ons (which are killer btw) really exaggerate the tank lift. Great ride you have there!

i think it doesnt look bad at all! mabe a lower lift? i personally dont like lifts but i think it looks great! mabe just a little lower. But i tucked my wires and i dont have a tank lift. You just have to move them around and find the right spot for them

So I've installed the bars functionally, changed out the brake line with a 28" one and, yes, lowered that tank back down. It looks sick from behind but from the front the hunchback is just too pronounced.

I did have to drill a hole to relocate that speedo using DK's kit. No knock to DK's advice, but it was quite impossible, alas, to find a good position for it with the clip ons on. The bike could point forward, but after that, the clutch would hit the speedo immediately.

lemme see if I can get the pictures up . .
