Default '86 n turnsignals

Thinking of losing turnsignals how many have done this on their bikes? I was requiring my rear section after tire tore the last one up. Hit a hiccup last night after getting wires connected. I have tail and break lights but in trying to hookup right turn signal I must have loosened the wire in the light. I walked away from it for a while and checked fuses etc to no avail thinking of just tucking the harness wires for signals back in harness and taking signals completely off bike. If I do that is there anything special I have to do with the unused wires in harness? Thanks for your input in advance

Chin up! Take a deep breath and get back out there to make them work! The wiring is too simple for words and there is probably something really straight-forward that will have everything working just as they should. Best of luck!
