Default riding 2up with hardtail struts?

I have a 2013 Iron 883 which currently has stock suspension. I'm considering installing a set of hardtail struts on there from dk customs:

http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/Slam...-DK-10-STR.htm

Right now I'm using a 48 passenger pillon. Is it ridiculous to even consider riding 2up with this setup even for short rides or will my girlfriend's *** be demolished by the vibrations. Also, with the drop on these struts should I suspect my bike to be scraping all over the place? I replaced the stock exhaust with v&h big radius if that makes a difference.

If you ride with struts, don't hit any big bumps!

The struts come in different lengths, get what length you want for looks/clearance in the corners.

How much do you like her? :P If u are just cruising under 40-50ish around town with nice roads it's not too bad. Highway and fast speeds would be dangerous and pointless and she could possibly bounce right off.
You will probably scrape at times w lowered sweepers. Keep an eye on the heat shield clamps and it should be fine. Cheers.

Remember, lowering and especially hard strutting it will also effect rake and handling as well. Just a thought.

Does your lady know of this plan?! What sort of seat does she have? Frankly I wouldn't do it, unless you have a second more comfortable bike to take her out on......

you might want to get a second girlfriend...one with a fat *** for those times you get the urge to ride 2 up.

It's difficult to see you needing it for much longer, unless your lady is as tough as very very tough things! In fact it will be interesting to see how long you ride with struts.....

You might be getting the idea that many of us are not excited by your plans for your bike and gf!
