riding 2up with hardtail struts?

Prolly have the same effect if ya give her a few hard whacks on the caboose with a two by four...
Then add a few metal studs to the two by four...
...and for the final effect, dont miss getting her on the tailbone with a surprise whack or two.
Naah...them struts would prolly still be worse.

Not only will she hate it...not only will you get your *** pounded by your own bike...not only will you likely loose your cornering ability...your general handling will suffer greatly. Without the ability to absorb road irregularities and bumps, your bike will buck and shudder in the worst situations and your tires will not be able to maintain reliable contact with the black top. Instead they will bounce with the frame.
I think rigids are cool, many have ridden them for years, and in certain road conditions they are fine, but I would not do that to my daily scoot with today's road speeds and manners...let alone with a passenger.
