Default Opinions on solo seats?

I'm looking for opinions on the different manufacturers of solo seats to fit an 07 XL1200C with 4.5 gallon tank.
What i would like is perhaps 1 inch lower, maybe 1 inch forward, and a little arch support.
Anyone got any ideas?

don't have one myself, but the Mustang solo or 2 up seats have great reviews....go to mustang.com, or denniskirk.com for good prices, and log in your bike and yr

(so basically I'm not allowed to have a 2-up seat)

I just got a LePera BareBones & it is an awesome piece. Great Build quality, fit & it's comfortable.

Not a Sporty, but I have just fitted a Mustang day tripper solo on my 2012 Fat Bob. First ride last weekend and I'm not sure about it .... I like the look, style, feel ... all plus ... but ... it seems like I can feel the vibrations a lot more than with the stock seat and my legs were a bit sore after the ride. A bit strange as the seat itself feels comfortable and soft even though much lower profile. Will have to go out again to see if it's just a matter of getting used to it ... I got the back rest and pillion as well but have not fitted that yet.

Cheers, Bones

I checked out the LePera website and i like the looks of the Aviator seat, it has a tall back to it, like the Saddlemen solo seat, i think the mustang vintage solo is tall at the back also ?, isn't it?

I've had a Sick Saddles solo with memory foam and leather with grey stitching on since January and get lots of compliments. It looks fantastic, is top quality and rides great. But I just purchased a Mustang Tripper solo from Dennis Kirk because I like that look also, hear they are very comfortable, AND it went on sale! I put it on today and it also looks great but haven't had a chance to take a long ride yet. Am gonna keep both solos + my 2up stocker for different looks.....
