I know they were just on sale...didn't want to rack up the credit card though

I also have an 07 1200c and installed a new Mustang Vintage Solo (studded) last week. The ride difference is night and day. I may not even upgrade the shocks now because the ride is so much better with the new seat.

Keep in mind, you will gain about an 1" of seat height with a Mustang Vintage Solo.

I have a Drag Specialities low profile solo. You can get it off Amazon, DK, JP Cycles etc for about 219-230 bucks depending on plain or stitch pattern.

Really like it - lowered me about 1.5", made handlebar reach a bit easier, and has a nice "bucket" that prevents sliding backwards at speed or WOT :-)

Build quality is great, and for a low profile seat, its reasonably comfortable. Just remember to pick one that fits with your tank size 2/3 gal or 4.5. (Mines the 4.5).

Off topic, but can you please provide me with more pics of the turn signals / brake lights?

Which model do you have?
I'm also thinking about upgrade, but with all those brands and models, and without seating on any of the - it's really tough to choose
