I got 4500 out id my duncrap. I have a shinko now and have almost 6500 miles on it and it barely shows. The grip is still as good as the day I put it on

I really like the Michelin. It's nicer than the Dunlop and I do prefer the look too. Only about 7k on them since I put them on in the spring, but it is a great tire.

I put 18,500 on the stock Dunlop 80/90x21 and now it wears an 80/90x21 Commander II, I'm not in love with it yet. But it looks good.

I have the Commander II tires too, better in every way than the stock Dunlop 401/402 tires I had. Too early for me to tell on wear, I've only got 2k on them so far.

I run Shinko tires too. The 777 Is awesome. I have run 712s and they seem a tad softer but last just as long. 712s are light on load rate but are more than the GAWR so unless you over load the bike they are perfect and give better ride quality than tires load rated more like a car tire. 130/90 16" on the rear responds better for me so its the size I run. 37R 32F on tire psi .

What model Shinko you run brother?
