Seems right to me, I have an 05 1200 with stock pipes and k&n air filter. I get over 50mpg when riding 2up with my wife and 30-35 when riding alone.

This interesting as I am fairly new to the Sporty (883). I put K&N filter on my about three weeks ago and now I am doing right at 50 MPG up from 43 MPG riding mostly in town with a bit of an attack mode of driving in Tucson.
