Default DK coil relo issue

Did the relo today and had a bit if an issue. If my leg rubs on the coil while I'm holding the grips I get a jolt of current in my right hand and left leg. Everything installed fine and runs well, but any ideas what's causing this?

That sounds less then pleasant....and something i'm sure is not supposed to happen. I want to think there is a wire issue somewhere. Maybe a bad ground, or whatever it's called when a positive wire is touching the frame...Short to ground i think it's called???

What shape are your plug wires in? You could try an old trick I used use on cars back in the day. Find a really dark place and start your bike and watch for electrical arcing. May be worth a try.

X2 I have had bad spark plug wires zap me before not pleasant, if your plug wires are bad in a very dark area you can see arching around the wires, even if they are new they could possibly not be terminated well and zap you

Could be bad wires, bad boot, if you used DK's wires maybe you have some of the wire showing after cutting them. Also, check that your coil isn't cracked when the wires plug in.
