Default What are the loudest pipes you know of

I know some people hate them some people love them.

http://images.motorcycle-usa.com/12_...aust_sound.gif

this exhaust shootout got me thinking is their anything louder than these exhaust the bub and bassani both got 108 db rating.

I'm wondering how short shots compare or bub full exhaust. How about samson.

These are exhaust I've heard of being loud but no one has a db rating of them.

What exhaust has the highest db rating that you know of for a sportster? What was it?

My cousin had some really short pipes like Rog48 on his 2006 FXST.
They were not as loud as my friend's 1986 Electra Glide with long Samson fishtails.

"Akrapovic sent over its Akrapovic Slip-On Mufflers ($1049.95), while Bassani enters the fray with a set of Bassani 3" Firepower Series Straight-Cut Slip-On Mufflers ($349.95). BUB shipped over its 7 Slip-On Muffler Set ($441) whereas The Motor Company will be represented in this battle by its Screamin’ Eagle Slip-On Shorty Dual Mufflers ($389.95). And don’t forget Vance & Hines who provided its Vance & Hines Twin Slash Rounds Slip-On Mufflers ($325.95) for our motorcycle exhaust shootout."

I assume that's a rhetorical question.
