Default Kuryakyn Corsair Air Cleaner & Forward Controls

Hey guys. I've been thinking about getting a Kuryakyn Corsair air cleaner for my 2000 883. I'm just wondering if anyone on the forum has used this cleaner along with forward controls. I was looking at the measurements and apparently it extends 6.5" from the side of the carb. That seems pretty huge. Do you think I'd have issues with my knee hitting the intake? I know most of the forward facing cone intakes are good for clearance, but I have a feeling that this thing might cause issues. I just don't want to order it in and have it not work out. Also any general opinions on this particular air cleaner would be appreciated.

Thanks

An air cleaner is not going to get in your way. Well, not unless you're a giant.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that the rear portion of the air cleaner is no closer to you than the stock one is.

Thanks Ragnar. I'm no giant, but I've had issues in the past with a hypercharger on my '05 VTX1300 and don't want to make the same mistake again. Looking at the diagram again, it really does seem like most of the bulk is in the cone filter, not at the elbow bend that would be closer to my leg.

If anyone's used this filter on their sporty could you post some pics? I can't seem to find any photos for reference everywhere. This filter looks awesome on the big twins, but I'd like to see it on a similar bike to mine.
