Exclamation fixing rear caliper on sportster

i have a 2008 nightser 1200N . my rear caliper is stripped out for wear the bolt threads into the caliper . can i tap out the hole or how can fix it to save $180 on a new one !!!!

Get a heli-coil kit and repair the threads. Super simple

heli-coil kit is simple to install ? do i need to drill out hole so no threads and a smooth hole is left ?? got to remember how to do them kits , different / better than tapping threads ?

If you get the kit it comes with everything you will need Except tap handle.

If a 06 rear caliper will fit, I have one you can have for a fair price
