some guys wouldn't mind riding a sporty but, are afraid of not fitting in or worry about someone making comments.So they buy in to the bs.no ***** in other words.I've owned 3 sportys and have yet to hear anything stupid about it.

Got the comment once a couple years ago. Had a friend ask about some mods I did ... was showing a few pics from my phone when a dbag from the group that doesn't have the ***** to even try to ride chimed in with the girls bike comment. Just ignored it. Not worth the time.

Well I got a iron a few months ago had a bonneville before this,32 yrs ago ,if someone ever refers to mine as a girls bike I couldn't care less btw what does RUB mean?

Truthfully have never heard that anywhere except the interwebs....to the Sturgis RK dude all I would have said was,line that RK up on the line & do you have your pink slip ready?

 

I've never got any crap for my 48 either. I had a man that owns a nightster one time tell me that sportsters are built for women, lol. Other than lots of compliments the most I ever get is 'how do you feel about it/like it?' and every now and then "do you plan to trade it in?'.
