Not sure why you may have received two different maps, but all of my correspondence has been by phone with him. Some maps are a power commander import, while others are his own in house dyno tune.

i cant fix your problem....but i think these maps get way out of hand. Hammer has tons of exp with these sporty engines. Those guys are almost always spot on.

You shouldnt need some super custom over the top map....why? because solid mount motors dont need them and timing is timing, not much has changed over the years. Get your over all timing and dont bring it in too fast.

like i said, i dont know much about the newer stuff, just my 2 cents. timing is timing.

The Harley stage 1 timing works fine for a 1250 with stock 883 heads and cams.

if you have a sert stage 2 map you should use the XL stage 2 map. it has less timing in the 25-3700 areas for your engine with more compression

Thanks Mich, haven't tried your map yet, waiting on last parts. Out of curiosity, where did you acquire that Stage 1 map? From Harley directly?

Here are the H-D Stage One base tables...pick and choose what you want and manually input. Just link or run both cylinders with same tables. The afr table is wacky...I would not run it as shown on any motor, stock or otherwise.

I had already passed on all these tables plus a custom AFR and VE tables. Maybe I am not trusted?

no sir, on the contrary i trust you the most your DIY guide was an absolute lifesaver for me and i have been linking people to that post daily. i was just curious where you acquired it, ie. from HD directly or somewhere else. it's not important though. once again i truly appreciate it.

I bought the CD that has all of the HD stage 1 and 2 base maps for all the models as well as the CD that has the smarttune software which I used to dial in the VE tables.

Remember the VE tables are based on different pipes and AC than what you are using so they will not be optimal but I am guessing they will be pretty close. I think if you make a map using the tables I gave you your bike will run pretty well. Give it a try and let us know what happens.

i thought the idea behind the powervision was to try a few maps and stick with the one that runs the best. I've never used a power vision so that is just an assumption. maybe that is why he sent you 2 to try? with the thundermax there was only one map that matched my build and the unit fine tuned it from there. I agree with Madnss when you have to many choices even if your bike runs great you are wanting to change to another because it might be even better. i would think that the harley maps for a stage 1 with your style pipes and air cleaner would work just fine.
