Risers?

Risers?
So I'm about to buy riser's for my 07 custom. I'm putting 10" bars on and I don't want to put them on top of the stock riser. I found some on Drag Specialties that are supposed to be oem replacements but the top holes for the speedo/ top riser bracket look to be placed differently then mine. Are these the correct ones for a Custom with the speedo placed under the bars?

No, it won't work with your top clamp. The 07 Custom Speedo, indicator lamp/ top clamp assembles bolts are straight up and down, not offset. If you get those risers you will have to buy a new top clamp and then figure out what else you will have to buy to remount your speedo and indicator lamp setup.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking too. I took my stock riser off and the bottom mount holes are 1/4" farther apart than the top ones. So, they are offset, but the once on drag specialties are a lot farther offset than mine. I wish I could find some that had the same offset. I looked on J&P and Denniskirk as well as every vendor on the site, eBay, and amazon. I'm planning on taking the stock one to a machine shop in the morning and having it cut down, drilled and tapped.
I assume no one makes a stock replacement because the speedo is so close to the tank when you shorten the riser.

I found my answer. No one makes a shorter riser for the "Custom" due to the speedometer location. It will rub against the tank if you were to shorten the riser. *G-Wiz information for anyone searching this thread; convert to a standard harley riser and get a non-custom style speedo mount. Or, any aftermarket riser and relocate your speedometer. This is the route I went with.
