Question Arlen Ness Stage I ‘Billet Sucker’ for Sportster

I want to put this on my bike.. not sure if it is any better than my present SE Stage 1 kit.

http://www.leatherup.com/p/Cruiser-M...or/208402.html

Questions:
1. Anyone out there have one of these or similar and how do you like it?
2. With my SE Stage One already installed, will I have to RE Jet if I buy this thing?

It's a nice breather since they fixed the backing plate. Some people had issues with the backing plate cracking with the old design. You probably will not need to re-jet, but you never know. Also, you'll probably still need to reroute the oil blow by outlets.

I just installed this on my bike. my se stage one was put on incorrectly (they left the rubber vibration thing off and it destroyed the filter.... it literally shattered [the metal damn filter!]. i checked the price of a new SE stage 1 filter and opted to go with a big sucker. i did this last friday and have not noticed a dif between them. i have an efi and the stage 1 download covers them both. i'll post a picture later.

i'd do a big sucker if you don't already have a stage one cleaner.... but... the SE stage 1 will allow you to use your oem air cleaner cover. the AN sucker will require a cover (if you want one) i got the sucker on clearance from old glory HD for $99.99. no cover included. ordered a dark custom cover on ebay for $70.

the blow by outlets are built into the backing plate. he'll just need to remove the banjo bolts withe a deep socket 9/16. okay.... let me back up and say that was how it went on my bike with efi. not sure about the carb'd guys.

here's the install vid:

I think the Stage 1 Big Sucker looks much better than the Stage 2 Big Sucker..., compare the two photos.

The blow-by outlets are built into the backing plate for the carb version of the Sucker's too. It's just that you'll possibly still get some of the oil soaking the bottom of the filter, and some of us decided to alter the backing plate, drill & add hoses to reroute the blow-by to the ground like with other breather systems.
