Avon's here as well. I had Renthal grips which are exactly like the kung fu grips as well

Put on some gell gloves and they all feel pretty much the same.

They do come in chrome and solid black if that makes a difference.
I second this, I like the ISOs with the big honkin throttle boss. Takes a little getting used to but once you do, they're great. I have chrome ones on my RK and black on the Ultra. Blacks look really nice.

I just put these Billett Aluminum Knurled grips from Joker Machine on my 07 Sportster. I have put several hundred miles on them so far and I love them! They give a super feel and provide superior grip in rainy weather. I also like the brushed look of the grips and I am working on replacing my pegs to match the brushed knurled look.

I use some coke bottle grips. Very cheap and look good. I ride with motocross gloves and they work well together. Even without gloves they are comfortable.

I'm leaning toward Avon Boss Performance coke bottle to fit my XXL hands and the grips have that throttle tab dealie. Pricey, but I'm almost use to paying more to fit right.

I have the HD Nostalgia grips. The look great on the 48. They are not soft, but the contour of them makes them way more comfortable that the stock grips.
