Please tell me how you could get 100 or even close to 100 miles out of the tank? Because I think me and almost everyone with a 48 would love to know this... Lol

Ill tell you what everytime my bike starts showing the light when im riding i always give myself a few miles before i head to a station to fill up. I probably rode about 2-3 maybe before my bike started acting sluggish between shifts right before i made it to a petrol station a couple days ago. Like BMXatv said...When you see the light come on start making your way to a gas station. Don't chance it unless you have a spare bottle of fuel on your bike, even then don't chance it.

even close? I'm still in my break in and getting 75 miles.

You should be getting ~40mpg if you're not riding it like a raped ape.

Default fuel/mileage

I get roughly 50-55 miles on my stage 1 72 until the light comes on. The furthest I have pushed it was to 85 miles and filled it with 1.97 gallons (43 mpg). When I got to around 77 miles though,as the remaining fuel sloshed around, my bike was sputtering really bad especially when accelerating.

Two other times times I have watched it when fueling up I have gone 65 miles, and 1.67 gal (38 MPG), 67 miles and 1.69 gal (39 mpg).
I don't ride too hard though, someone that does will prolly notice even less mpg...

You guys should wear camel back's and fill them with gas. When your about to run out, open up your gas cap and insert the straw from the camel back and pump some fuel in the tank. Probably get 150 miles out of them.

I have not run my tank dry yet (11k on the odom). I ALWAYS fill at 50-70miles and have only pushed it to 80miles a couple of times. The fuel light on my bike was never accurate and is now on constantly.
