Sportster (iron) peanut tank question
The 2013 has a 3.3 gallon tank supposedly. I get 85 miles on a tank of gas. Would like something larger. I'm looking for someone who has done this to theirs already and can show me some pics. I am dead set on keeping the peanut tank look. I saw one at J&P cycles that was 4.5 gallons, but not sure if its a peanut shape or not. Does anyone have any pics of their sportster tank upgrades they would mind sharing? Thanks.

Wow. Those are nice tanks. $650 is a LOT out of my price range though. $200 or so is more my range.
I upgraded my bike to a 1250, changed the cams, pipes, intake, etc. but even when it was brand new out the door it only got 90 miles per tank. Every 883 owner I k ow says they get around 100 miles or less on their bikes too.

I'm guessing OP calculated MPG from full to "reserve" so it's a tad low, but not what he's looking for...wants larger "peanut" tank...
Don't know if any of these fit your build, but might be worth a call...
