Just curious.
Agreed. For $hits'n giggles I too looked into the aftermarket Sporty wheel scene and was totally shocked by the few options and high prices...and what made it worse was that in my opinion most of the designs that were available I thought were absolutely hideous, looking like they were primarily designed for some kind of dungeon & dragon theme'd Orange County Chopper abortion than a Sporty. Sheeeeeeeeesh.

So with that figured out, I looked and looked at my stock wheels and said hey, they were actually pretty nice; black with natural aluminum finished spokes, which to me really accentuates the brilliant silver denim color of my bike. It just works and adds to the overall purpose and "look" of the dull silver tins against the black frame, black engine, black battery and oil tank covers, black seat, black handlebars...black most everything except the chrome exhaust, with further accentuates all the aformentioned. All of course IMHO.

Even if aftermarket wheels were available I dunno if I'd buy them. If anything, and if I had the inkling to do so, I'd go with the Nightster wire wheels...because they're about the only thing I've seen that looks good. At least I know they're available and won't cost me my left ******** [right side already set aside for something better, should the need arise, LOL]!

=8^)
