Cost of fender chop on 883?
Hi Everyone,
New poster here on the forums. Just picked up pa new Iron 883 (black denim), and like most, want to get the fender and fender struts chopped and relocate the rear lights as well as the license plate holder. I've read through a bunch of posts about how this is done, and it looks pretty straight forward. I don't have the space or the tools to get this done myself, and truthfully, I would be nervous about messing something up... so, I have been talking to a few places around here in Los Angeles to get it done.
My question is, what is a reasonable price for getting this done? I've had one guy quote me that it would take between 6 - 8 hours (which seems a little high), and other shops not even quote me at all. Just don't want to get screwed on something that sounds like it would be a pretty straightforward job... that said, I am a newby, and don't know much about what it takes to get these kind of jobs done.
Thanks in advance for any advice...
