Default Aftermarket tach on 2000 Sporty

I am looking at adding a small digital tach.
Is it fairly easy on this year ?

Check out this one if you want digital http://www.speedwayinstruments.com/p...microtach.html

Instructions are here

I am thinking of installing one of these low priced analog tachs from Dennis Kirk who is I believe is a member of this forum

If you are installing just a simple tach, it should not be very difficult. Usualy only 3 or 4 wires.

Just depends on what you want. Google is your friend!

I have read elsewhere that I can tap into speedo for a pink wire and iy canbe used for a tach signal wire from a digital tach. Can anyone confirm?
