So i finally finished making my tag/taillight relocation bracket. and i chopped my rear fender. i made the tag bracket outof aluminum, so i don't know how long its gonna hold. if it breaks i'll make it out of titanium. (cause its free from work, it pays to work on the V-22 osprey).

Looks good, I like the bobbed look. The only concern is the tail / brakelight being see off Axis, you may not be able to see it well from the rear offset to the right........

 

I think it looks great. Your bike is badass.

It is legal to have your plate sideways where you live? Not sure if that would fly in some places...

 

thanks for all the compliments. and my taillight is off a boat trailer, so it's really bright, and with the bobbed fender you can see it. i thought about that too so i had my buddy ride directly behind me and just a little behind me and he said it WAS noticeable. i can even see it at my left foot almost when i'm riding it. i was suprised at how bright it was. and as far as state laws, NC has no laws stating how or where theliscense platehas to be 'mounted', except for two things. must be placed behind the rear-most axle and has to have a clear/white light to illuminate liscense plate. i guess seeing that it says that you could possibly mount it upside down if you wanted. but i wouldn't try it.
