2009 or 2013 1200?
Hello,
I am in the process of looking at a couple of 1200 sportsters from the Harley dealership in Kennewick, WA. One is a 2009 and the other is a 2013. The price difference is $2500 dollars. The 2009 has around 15,000 miles. Would it make more sense to get the brand new one for a little more? They are the same bike essentially just one is newer than the other. If I get the new one they will throw in a $400 gift card for the store as well. Thanks for the help!

My vote: I'd buy the new one.
$2500 is worth 15000 less miles to me.
Plus you get the 2 year warranty and $400 gift card.
(try to get the 1000 service thrown in for free with the new one too!)
Or look for a private party Sportster as suggested in above posts. I think there are lots of nice low mileaged Nightsters, 48, Customs for sale.
