If you want new then buy new but, if you are going to buy used go private. I think that the 8900 price is a little high for a 4 year old bike with 15000 on it. For that price you should be able to find something with less miles. However if the bike is the way you want it and you aren't going to change anything then go for it. If you are going to buy it and replace $500+ worth of stuff on it then go buy a different bike that is cheaper and you can modify to your liking.
