Default rearsets

So I bought and installed chainsikle rearsets it what is turning out to be a rash and stupid decision. My question for those who have reasets how do you fit? Im 5'10" and didnt think I would have a problem. Its extremely difficult to shift and after a 20 min ride my knees were so stiff I barely was able to hold my bike up. Did you have to do anything else to fit like buy a thicker seat?

Post a side view of your bike, so we can what the riding position is like. If you have a low seat and high bars, for example, you may also need a physio!

Just return it to stock, sell the rear sets and chalk it up to a learning experience.

You need a much taller seat that is 2-3" off the frame rails. Look at how a XR1200 has the seat higher up off the frame rails. Sport bikes don't even have the seat to rearset peg as close as they are when done on a Sportster.

I run clip-ons & mids. Works perfectly for me.
