Glad to see you're OK. I have been told by a friend of mine that the vitamins from barley aids in the healing process. Now it so happens that there is a lot of barley in beer. Go take your medicine!!!

Karma's gonna bitch-slap that jerk who fled the scene. Bikes are easy to fix; skin grows over. Mental scars heal a little slower, but on the up side - you've now grown more cautious and alert and they can't teach you that in any class. Seriously, glad you didn't get hurt any worse than that!

Think you might make the leap to a leather or textile jacket?

Yeah, would a cheap textile armored mesh jacket have protected you from the road rash?

I bought a cheap Xelement mesh jacket and feel like a douche wearing it but seeing your pics makes me think it's worth it.
