Default Softail sportster pos. vs neg.

Lookin to pick up a softail sporty roller for a pretty good price and was wondering what positives and negatives ill be expected to experience. The bike will take all the guts outta my 93 sporty 1200 but uses the front end and rear wheel of a stock softail. I'm goin for the hardtail look minus the back problems. What can i expect as far as performance though?

Sounds nice, i would definitely tack on an NHRS 1250 kit, since your bike might be a little heavier depending on the size of the rear end you will be running.

I think that with the right rear suspension it will be a great ride. Will the roller kit use standard softail suspension? if so I would have a look at the Shotgun shock for it. SOunds like a fun build. Good luck with it. Keep us posted.
