Default Harley speedo tach combo trip reset?

I ordered the new Harley speedo combo for my orty. I haven't had a chance to install it, I want to be sure I have all I need. The new speedo does not have a trip reset button on the back, do I reuse the one currently on the back of my stock speedo? How would I go about that?

The button is part of the harness on the bike, not part of the speedo.

After you've done the odometer transfer, don't forget to pull the maxi fuse before actually installing the new speedo. Others have had issues with the speedo after installation that left the fuse in.

Ill be sure to remove the fuse. Correct me if I'm wrong but ur saying ill be using that stock harness on my new speedo? I'm also relocating it with a fork clamp by joker.

Yes, the new speedo has the same connector as the stock one, stock harness plugs right in. The harness that comes with the new speedo is for transferring the odometer via the ECU connection by the battery, that's all.

If you read your instructions carefully before you start, & follow them to the letter, it's the easiest mod ever!
