Its interesting IMO how there are a helluva lotta other bikers who also find the retro-like look of other motorcycles appealing. So much so in fact there exists an AMERICAN 100% independent completely unrelated to anything HD or Indian that makes a 1920's/30's retro fully functional road worthy motorcycle that what seems to selling quite a few of.

The 883 IS very good at what it was designed to do.. Too many people try make the Sportster into what it wasn't meant to be or disparage it for what it am can't do (82mph tourer or dragstrip racer. The same characteristics that make it an excellent flattrack racer make it easier for women to ride NOT the other way around!

Like the 100s of riders that attend AMRA & AHDRA racing events every year. And the thousands of people that big bore their 40hp 883’s because they can’t stand the lack of power in their 883 moped. How dare people do that and them people that put thousands and thousands of miles touring with their Sportsters. Wth man……All those performance companies with performance parts and services, how dare they intrude on what the 883 was intended for. 🤡

who cares, sportster resale value sucks anyway. Most people that are into motorcycles aren’t worried about resale lmao 🤣
