The pipe is all stainless steel, so it will turn gold after running for a bit. Here is mine after a month.

I thought It comes with chrome heat shields? Do they turn gold?

It does come with chrome heat shields, I just don't run them. You can see them hanging on my wall in this picture - they're pretty small and minimal. They only cover the "2" part of the pipe so the fat "1" part is exposed and will turn gold also.

I think it looks better all gold instead of gold with only part of it covered with chrome heat shields.

They are. I just received an email from Don Lindfors @ Patriot Exhaust Products. nothing for the Evos.

That pipe looks like it sits really low. anybody had them drag is tight turns?

It fits fine on my 1992 with mid controls. I had to build a bracket, that's it.

Yes, it drags if you corner hard, makes gobbs of power on beefed up bikes, power sucks with flap closed, pipe is loud. Can't beat it for 295 bucks.
