Hey all,

I'm considering either a stock Iron 883 seat or a LePera Aviator to replace my stock Nightster seat.

I'm not looking for long-haul comfort... I'm more of a bar hopper anyway.

I'd like to fill the gap between the seat and tank, retain the bucket to keep me planted, and possibly gain a little contour along the thigh area.

Here's one comparison I've been looking at: Iron 883 vs Nightster

The LePera Aviator looks to be fairly similar.

And finally, I did happen to run across one thread here on HD Forums with a few pics.

I'm leaning toward the Aviator.

Anyone have any thoughts/opinions or happen to have any additional pics of either of these installed on a Nightster?

Most, if not all, stock seats really suck. I'd never consider going back to a stock seat. Given the choices, I'd go with the Aviator. I don't have any experience with them, but LePara makes a great seat from what I hear. You may want to look at Mustang and Corbin also.
