My name is Luis and I am from Colombia, this is my first post. I have a Iron 883 2013. I bought in USA the combination digital speedo/analog tach (70900274) and XL fuel level sensor kit (61200008), and the dealer (the only dealer in this country) installed, everything perfect but when the tank is running low of fuel, about the last two lines in the fuel level display, when it comes to the last line it jumps to the second line and the fuel level indicador turns on.

I attached two pictures to explain my issue, one with the main problem and the other one with my tank size.

The dealer have reviewed but they have not been able to fix it, they said that the instalation was well done.

As I bought these items outside my country I do not have warranty with the dealer, so, has anybody experienced this situation? any advise or solution ?

your tank size 12.5 L is correct - its 3.3 gallon

have you rode the scoot more then 31 miles yet ??
the instructions say to add at least 2 gallon of gas to the tank once installed to update the fuel and range displays

if it does not update quickly - it will update after 31 miles

and also says the tank needs at least to be filled half way before it will update
it will learn your ride style and update according to that .. as far as the light
it says nothing
another member replied Many members had the same experience of not working til after a fill up or 2.

Thanks, I have ridden more than 31 miles and i have filled my tank more than twice. I will fill half way my tank to see what happens, and read the post you suggested.
