Default Looking for a batwing fairing that fits a 2012 1200C

Having some struggles finding a fairing that fits the the New 1200C. I purchased a Hoppe batwing Fairing from JP Cycles thinking it would fit, but much to my dismay it did not. The Triple Tree on the new 1200C is about and inch and a half wider, due to the new wider tire.
Does any one know if there is a fairing that will fit? Maybe a road King or SuperGlide?

looking to do the same to my 06'.... i have seen where you can hang just the outer fairing from an flh ...if you can make brackets/or have them made...what are you doing w/ the fairing (for sale ?) and which one did you get xlp/xls ? how is the quality ?
...i would contact hoppe, maybe get the wider version-for dyna wide or flh-i think all the fairings are the same shape/just the inside brackets are different-tell them how far your forks are apart-and if fairing brackets are still to wide you could add spacers between the fairing and the quik disconnect kit from harley.......thanks and best of luck w/ project

Default Looking for a batwing fairing that fits a 2012 1200C

I'm in the same boat. Just bought a 2012 1200C, ordered the Hoppe xls fairing and found the brackets are too narrow. I'll be contacting Hoppe to see what they've got that will fit. I had the xlp on my 2008 and loved it and was so excited to get this one put on. Riding without any wind protection really sucks!

Default fork width

i was just wondering what is the width of the forks on the newer sportster -just measure the tubes center to center- then you could see which will work for you.

Fork Tube Center to Center Spacing Info
39mm Stock 7.000" --
39mm Mid-Glide 8.437"
39mm Wide-Glide 9.875

if the forks are close to or the same as the mid or wide glide (dyna)you could just get that one-- if not exact just get the one w/ the least space between the brackets and fairing and use spacers between the quik release harley part and the fairing

also glad to hear the positive reviews about the fairing- it will probably be one of the last things i get-but its nice to know it is a quality piece

They are approx. 11" wide, maybe a tiny bit less center to center. Where can I find information on other bikes fork spacing?

Bummer you can't see the pics. I measured the forks and they're 8.5" center to center. Seems like the forks are beefier than my '08.

Just found an article on the 2013 and it states 39mm forks so that must be what I have.
