Keep in mind that not just any springer will fit. Due to the frame design on the 04 and up Sportsters the springer has to be offset so that the rear springer leg does not contact the down tubes when turning.

There was a guy on the XL Forum that put a LedSled springer on his 48. If I remember correctly by the time it was all said and done and finished up he had over $2000 tied up in it. No thanks.
