Cool seat upgrade question

hi there well i have an 07 883 low with stock seat , and after 27,000mi and with a bad back ( im going into the hospital on 4/17 for work on my back to relieve pain) id like to get either a new seat or my choice redo my stock seat with a bit more padding and gel pad .

My real question is who could do my seat, nicely and quickly as my bike is my only transportation and i want minimum down time at a reasonable cost?

ive looked at seats like the sundowner and some mustang seats , but i dont like the big fat look i like the low slim look of my original seat.

thanks

A better seat will be could for your butt, but better suspension will be good for your back.

I've had 2 back surgeries...suspension, suspension, suspension.

I have a C&C Lopro Solo that I'm very happy with. It's no bigger than the stock seat. But it will move you back about an inch and a half.

I have a nice squishy uber comfy sick saddles with memory foam. My *** can sit on it all day. But the second I go over a pot hole or rough bump with my crap susp my back gets blasted. My butt feels good though lol

I would suggest some air shocks and maybe one of those Airhawk seat pads. You could keep your own seat, they're supposed to be very comfortable, and just store the pad.

Have you looked at Corbin? The classic is super comfortable and doesn't look "clunky." It was pricey and some people complain about its "break-in" time, but I would still recommend their seats. They have some lower profile designs as well; I've heard that they are also quite comfortable, but I don't have personal experience.

Jerryw618, it should work with the Medium height backrest and pillion pad. If in doubt, contact mustang and ask them to be sure.
