stupid question re: XIED's
installed the XIEDs and love them. i can't shake this thought in my head that i installed them wrong. the XIED's add a good 6-8 inches of wiring. i took it "literally" when installation was a simple "plug and play"...but because of the extra length of wiring, the cable is "bent" where the plug is. i'm afraid this will cause "pinching" over time. any suggestions on how to release the potential crimping? thx in advance.

Yeah, I also found them a little fuzzy to properly sort and avoid bending at the connectors.
To stow the extra cable length of the installed XiEDs, in the front I tucked it under the large cable clip on the frame that already holds various wiring and the clutch cable, in the back I shoved cable length and the AMP connector into the plastic casing of the original harness in front of the battery box (even had a free opening to insert a cable).
Before I mounted them, I also used textile insulating tape on the open colored leads at the AMP connectors to prevent water from settling anywhere - just to tidy them up.

On the front connection I ran it across from the 02sensor and used black wire ties up the frame. The rear one did the same. There's gonna be a little bend in the wire as you come up from the pipes but as long as its not totally bent in half by the connections it should be fine. But the front one you just follow the old. Connection and wire tie it and put it back into the frame clip.

Most people dont have the spear cash for something like that just laying around.. Most people dont do major Mod's to justify that big of a purchase for tuning they just want their bike to run cooler and maybe add some exhaust or air cleaner. Power vision is good if your doing an engine build or other major Mod's. Is it good for the small mod's too of course!! But not needed...

TL;DR: The xieds work, yes, but have limitations and aren't the best long term solution.
