Default I love My Sportster

Thats all. I Love that bike...

Soon there will be a 2013 Road Glide keeping the Sporty company in the garage, but it will never take its place.

The Sportster stays. Thats final.

It's nice to have a smaller bike in the stall...So nimble...I love to blast around on the Dyna...Had a XL883C before the FLHTC and it was a blast...20000 miles in 2 years on it...at the time i couldn't keep it when i got the EGClassic.

Everyone from the dealer to my girlfriend, and even my parents are telling me to trade in the Sporty or put it up for sale.
It's been paid in full since day one and aside from taking up space in my parents garage (I don't have one) it isn't bothering anyone or costing anyone money. Why do people love to hate the Sportster so much?

My Sporty is staying with me.

Have any of you gone through a similar experience?

That's the sweetest part right there. I'm struggling to put up scratch for rent, groceries have been a luxury for quite some time now, but my Sporty will be the last posession to be considered for liquidation.

I've had my bike for 23 years, and I still find myself sometimes just looking at her. Still as beautiful and captivating as the day I got her.

I know the feeling. When I had my first Sportster everyone gave me ****. I finally bought a Roadking. I rode that for 7 years before I decided to get a new bike. Now I'm back on a sporty. Screw what everyone else says!

I love not owing money to anybody. My bikes been paid off for over 5 years. I add a lil bling to it every year. There really is no other motorcycle I want than my Sportster. Its a daily driver 20 miles a day, several hundred miles every weekend. Sportsters are the coolest bikes HD makes hands down. Geezer glides are a dime a down around here.
