Default Running a 170 rear tire...if I mod the swing arm what else is needed

I don't plan to run a fender but I'm wondering what else in addition to making room on the swing arm will be needed? Thanks - Nate

i'm not aware of any swingarm mods needed. I can't recall if the 94 sportsters have a narrower swingarm but a 170 is nothing. The tolerances that need to be tweaked are more so on the belt/pulleys (where a chain conversion comes in handy or just offset belt pulleys. You can get away with those on up to most 180's), and your fender struts. The inside will need to be ground down. My stock Iron fender fits over my 180 just fine.

bigger axle obviously and you're gonna need to make sure it's spaced properly on both sides. not rocket science, its been done a million times so i'm sure there's plenty of info out there.
